Frontline Staff
A Clinician From the Field
Tatiana has been in the field of social services since 2014, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her work with agencies focuses on burnout prevention, secondary trauma support, team dynamics, and culturally responsive service delivery for frontline and administrative staff.
Frontline work involves more than the difficult encounter itself. Staff may carry the uncertainty of a referral, the frustration of limited resources, or the feeling that an unfinished case follows them home. Administrative staff can experience a different kind of pressure while coordinating the same services. Naming these differences can help an agency choose a useful training focus. Consider whether your concern is about individual stress, team communication, supervision, or a workload decision that belongs to leadership. You do not need to bring client records or identifying case details to explain the pattern you want to address.

Who Should Be in the Room
Frontline and administrative staff carry different things. Sessions can bring them together or run separately, if that would let people speak more freely. Tell Tatiana what your team needs on the discovery call.
For a planning conversation, think about the moments when support is hardest to access. Is it after an intense interaction, during a rushed handoff, or when a staff member is unsure whether to ask for help? Describe what currently happens and what you would like people to understand more clearly. Ask how a proposed session could fit the agency's population and staff roles. Education can provide language for discussing the work, but it does not replace clinical supervision, agency procedures, or adequate resources. Keeping those distinctions visible helps avoid putting responsibility for a structural problem entirely on the people carrying it.
