About This Group

Support Alongside What You Already Do

This group offers continued support for people in recovery from addiction, complementing existing treatment with clinical guidance and community connection. Members focus on emotional regulation, identity, impulse control, relationships, and coping skills, all in service of maintaining recovery.

It is designed as a non-judgmental space for sustained growth, planned as ongoing weekly support. Tatiana has experience serving people in all stages of addiction recovery.

Looking at the Life Around Recovery

Recovery can raise practical questions about friendships, routines, work, and how to spend time that once revolved around an addiction. You might want to discuss a situation that feels difficult to navigate or the kind of support you wish you could ask for. A group conversation can sit alongside your existing care, but it does not decide changes to medication or treatment. Bring questions about coordinating different supports to the clinicians already involved in your care.

The Neuroscience

Cravings Have a Logic

Addiction teaches the brain's reward and stress systems to expect a particular way out. Those pathways do not vanish on the first day of sobriety, which is why stress, shame, or a bad week can bring old urges back.

Understanding that process takes some of the shame out of it and points toward what can be practiced: spotting triggers early, tolerating the urge, and choosing the next right step.

Questions About Recovery Group

Does this replace a program or sponsor?

No. It is meant to complement existing treatment and supports, not replace them.

Do I need a certain amount of sober time?

Talk with Tatiana about where you are. If you need detox or a higher level of care first, she can talk through that with you.

What if I slip while I am in the group?

Tell us. Relapse prevention is one of the topics, and honesty about a slip is part of the work. For a medical emergency, call 911.
