Christ and Neuroscience
What a Christian clinician sees when brain science and scripture sit side by side.

Two Things Tatiana Cares About Most
Tatiana is passionate about Christ and neuroscience. Some people assume those two pull against each other. She integrates frameworks from neuroscience and evidence-based practice with what biblical principles say, and she looks at each one from both directions.
One Place They Meet
Renewing the Mind
Romans 12:2 says, "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (KJV). Neuroscience uses the word neuroplasticity: repeated attention and practice change the pathways the brain relies on.
Those are different languages asking different questions, and neither one proves the other. But for a believer who has been told to just have more faith, it matters that practicing a new thought is a physical process as well as a spiritual discipline.

Other Places She Goes With Clients
- Why fear shows up in the body before you can pray about it
- What rest and Sabbath do for an overworked nervous system
- How thought patterns connect to "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7, KJV)
- Why shame locks people up, and what grace does in the room
- How community regulates us, and "Bear ye one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2, KJV)
What This Is Not
- A claim that science proves the Bible, or the other way around
- A replacement for your pastor or your medical doctor
- A promise that faith plus science will take symptoms away
If You Are Not a Believer
Ask how neuroscience-informed discussion could fit with your preference for non faith-based care.
